IT Glue has added checklists to its managed services documentation solution.
The new feature seeks to help the Vancouver, B.C.-based vendor’s MSP partners organize and track routine management tasks such as setting up workstations, performing diagnostic site visits, and gathering information for sales. Users can create templates as well to standardize checklists across the company.
“The new Checklists feature in IT Glue and MyGlue has cornerstone functionality that can unlock efficiency, productivity, standardization and the ability to deliver consistently great service in your IT organization or business,” said Luis Giraldo, vice president of product at IT Glue, in a press statement.
According to IT Glue, checklists help MSPs complete tasks consistently and ensure that everyone understands their role, while giving management the ability to see which tasks have been done and which have not.
The new feature is also designed to simplify process documentation by providing a faster, more flexible alternative to standard operating procedures, which the company says tend to be long and complicated.
IT Glue asserts as well†that checklists help bridge the gap between multiple tasks and multiple team members, ensuring that everyone understands which tasks need to be completed and their role in getting the work done. It also keeps everyone accountable to promises made to clients, vendors, and other team members.†
IT Glue’s solution integrates with a wide variety of RMM and PSA systems, including products from ConnectWise, Datto Inc., Kaseya, SolarWinds MSP, Tigerpaw Software Inc., and most recently Pulseway.
