Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile are the hot topics here at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, Fla. The mobility of the Office experience is of particular interest to partners, and Microsoft isn’t holding back on showing off new productivity experiences across devices, thanks to an updated suite of Universal Office Apps that will run across phones, tablets, and desktops.
Users accustomed to iOS and Android versions of Office will feel right at home, but Windows phone stalwarts should prepare themselves for a heavily revamped Outlook mail experience.
The new Outlook universal app adapts the modern styling of Office 2013/Office 2016, while adding in support for customizable left/right swipe gestures to do things like set a flag and delete. Office 365 is also getting some advanced security features that protect mail users from nefarious software in real time, and is supported across the Office ecosystem on all devices.
Stay tuned to our hub for more from the 2015 WorldWide Partner Conference, and specific news coming out of Microsoft at the Worldwide Partner Conference Spotlight.
