Pia, the automated ticket resolution solutions provider, has introduced a new feature called Extension Automations, which allows MSPs to modify aiDesk’s automation packages for unique circumstances that are not part of the workflow. By adding an “extension point,” an MSP can create an automation and incorporate it into the automation package’s workflow instead of creating the entire workflow from scratch, according to the company. 

The zero-trust security vendor’s allowlisting technology, which normally blocks any process not explicitly OKed in advance for use in client environments, now permits Pia’s managed services automation solution to interact with protected endpoints by default.

Called Pia aiDesk and first unveiled last year, the new system uses machine learning and natural language processing to help MSPs analyze, route, and resolve level 1 and 2 service tickets automatically.

Pia is an intelligent automation platform that integrates with IT service management tools to simplify processes and improve operational efficiencies.
