StorageCraft Technology Corp. and Passportal Inc. have both announced tighter integrations between their software and managed services line-of-business solutions in Datto Inc.‘s Autotask product line.
The news arrives as the U.S. edition of Norwalk, Conn.-based Datto’s DattoCon partner event gets underway in Austin, Texas.
The StorageCraft integration helps MSPs automate billing by exporting license quantity and cloud storage consumption data directly into Autotask PSA, either on demand or per a pre-defined schedule.
“The enhanced automation capabilities of our Autotask PSA Integration service will give MSPs much needed speed and efficiency boosts. Removing cumbersome back end operations processes will also help them scale with greater ease,” said Shridar Subramanian, vice president of product management and marketing for Draper, Utah-based StorageCraft, in prepared remarks. “We have made significant investments in ensuring our partners experience the best possible integration with the Autotask platform. We will continue to invest and innovate with regular updates to our existing solutions as well as new product offerings.”
Passportal, of Calgary, Alb., has linked its Ocular + docs solution more closely with both the Autotask PSA system and Autotask Endpoint Management RMM product.
The PSA integration simplifies client documentation by syncing configuration item data across the two systems. The RMM integration synchronizes device data, enabling Ocular + docs users to remotely launch RDP, VNC, and Splashtop sessions, audit devices, capture device screenshots, view and search device software inventories, and more. It also provides two-way synchronization of user-defined fields about devices.
“The next-gen integration with Datto RMM brings a whole new level of operational efficiency by taking the next step beyond synchronization of all devices as assets and includes quick launch capabilities to rapidly access features of the RMM, which has never been seen before,” said Passportal founder and CEO Colin Knox in a press statement. “This builds upon the fundamentals of MSP efficiency and drives incremental value to our partners and ultimately their clients through faster resolution times.”
Passportal introduced Ocular + docs in March 2017.
“These latest integrations with Autotask will benefit our mutual partners, and the customers they serve,” said Passportal President Dan Wensley in a press statement. “Delivering better service and value via service delivery automation has been the foundation of the MSP industry, and these latest innovations help partners build on that promise.”
Value-added cloud computing distributor Pax8 Inc., of Greenwood Village, Colo, also unveiled an Autotask PSA integration today.
The main action at DattoCon 2018 starts tomorrow morning, with a general session presentation by Datto CEO Austin McChord. The shows concludes on Wednesday.
