Bitdefender has rolled out integrations between its endpoint security products and ConnectWise Automate.
The new functionality lets users of Bitdefender Patch Management, Bitdefender Advanced Threat Security, and Bitdefender Endpoint Detection and Response who are also users of ConnectWise‘s RMM solution execute tasks such as deployment, quarantine management, alerts, and notifications without exiting the console they employ for other administrative activities. It augments previously introduced integrations that allow MSPs to handle ticketing and billing for Bitdefender products through the ConnectWise Manage PSA platform.
“At ConnectWise we have encouraged MSPs to add more advanced security solutions and services to their portfolio, and our partnership with Bitdefender has furthered this mission,” said Travis Vigneau, director of channel sales and alliances for ConnectWise, in a press statement. “With Bitdefender, we have expanded our offering to help MSPs get to the next level of security with enhanced prevention, visibility, threat hunting, or detection capabilities that are essential in tackling advanced threats.”
According to Bitdefender, the centralized management of multiple security layers made possible by the new ConnectWise integration arms MSPs to prevent, detect, and respond to ransomware, zero-day threats, data breaches, fileless attacks, and advanced persistent threats more effectively.
“We’re proud to partner with ConnectWise to offer MSPs award-winning security solutions to protect their customers against increasingly sophisticated attacks,” said Alina Draganescu, senior director of security for MSP and SMBs in Bitdefender’s global enterprise security solution group, in prepared remarks. “MSPs can enhance protection and reduce costs with a solution that integrates the layers to prevent, detect, and respond to even the most advanced attacks while the integration with ConnectWise further streamlines and automates routine security workflows.”
Bitdefender’s GravityZone MSP solution includes antivirus, encryption, email security, virtualization protection, patch management, cloud sandboxing, and threat detection and response capabilities, among other features, as well as machine learning technology. As ChannelPro reported in March, recruiting and selling through MSP partners is one of the vendor’s top priorities presently.
