Channel membership organization The ASCII Group has rolled out an updated edition of its online community platform, ASCII-Link.
The new version, which is open to members now, includes a member directory, custom user profiles, sub-groups, and additional personalization functionality.
“The new platform will help foster more partnerships and sharing of best practices within the ASCII MSP community,” said ASCII Group President Jerry Koutavas in a media statement. “ASCII continually looks at ways to help MSPs increase their ability to work together, and this is another step in raising the bar in driving more interaction amongst our members across North America.”
One of ASCII’s most popular and heavily utilized member benefits, ASCII-Link helps the group’s MSP, MSSP, and solution provider members exchange best practices, discuss technical issues, and more. ASCII doesn’t moderate content on the site, which receives over 3,000 messages a month on average. To ensure users can discuss products and solutions openly, vendors are not allowed to access the platform.
“ASCII is continually expanding on ways to help my business form partnerships and build upon opportunities with other like-minded MSPs in the group. The new enhancements to ASCII-Link provide another way to connect and engage with other MSP members in the community,” said Stephen Monk, CEO of Noverus Innovations and an ASCII member, in prepared remarks.
The ASCII Group, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, added peer groups last summer to a benefit list that already included a wide range of discounts, free tools, and business and marketing services.
