Aryaka has introduced managed SD-WAN and SASE solutions for hybrid workplaces with cloud-focused IT strategies.
The three new offerings are backed by an also new global L3 private core called FlexCore and a new solution called AppAssure designed to help technicians discover, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot over 3,500 applications.
“CEOs and business leaders rate growth as their highest priority but have to contend with unpredictability and change particularly in today’s environment,” said Matt Carter, Aryaka’s CEO, in a media statement. “They are increasingly leaning on ‘cloud-first’ technology to help navigate change and fuel their transformation initiatives. In this scenario, old school telco managed solutions and legacy stacks like MPLS don’t cut it. They are not nimble enough for the new world, and the quality of experience they deliver is poor. This is where Aryaka steps in to deliver something refreshingly different.”
The SD-WAN services are called Aryaka SmartConnect EZ and SmartConnect Pro. The former, which runs on the company’s new L3 core, is a cost-optimized solution tailored to small and midsize businesses. The latter is a performance-optimized offering for larger companies with more demanding speed and reliability requirements. It runs on Aryaka’s existing L2 core.
The managed SASE solution, named Aryaka Prime EZ, is delivered over the L3 private core. Based on technology Aryaka acquired along with SASE vendor Secucloud in May, the new offering includes secure web gateway, firewall-as-a-service, and web filtering capabilities and is aimed chiefly at small to midsize businesses.
Aryaka SmartConnect EZ and SmartConnect Pro will be generally available toward the end of the first quarter of 2022. Qualified beta deployments Aryaka Prime EZ become available starting next month, with broader early orders scheduled to follow in April.
Aryaka AppAssure ships in January. Existing Aryaka customers can use the service at no extra cost.
To make pricing, packaging, and quoting both SD-WAN and SASE solutions simpler, Aryaka has introduced standard rates for its five most requested service tiers globally. The company has also supplemented its gold tier support plan, which promises the “ultra-low” response times and 99.999% uptime demanded by operators of performance-sensitive applications, with a new, more affordable silver tier for organizations with more modest requirements.
“We believe these innovations will offer customers maximum architectural flexibility for both SD-WAN and SASE deployments,” said Aryaka CMO Shashi Kiran in prepared remarks. “Combined with Aryaka’s managed services offering, they represent a graceful, non-disruptive way for customers to evolve their network, security and cloud service as they accommodate the shifts in workloads moving to the cloud, a hybrid workforce and expectations for a consumption friendly delivery model.”
Fueled by the rapid adoption of cloud-based solutions and hybrid work arrangements, spending on both SD-WAN and SASE is accelerating swiftly. Gartner expects global SD-WAN sales to climb at a 28% CAGR through 2024 and global SASE outlays to climb at an even more robust 36% CAGR through 2025.
Aruba introduced an SD-WAN and SASE solution of its own specifically for small and home offices today.
