Accelerated, a provider of enterprise-grade cellular (LTE) hardware and software connectivity solutions for primary and backup applications, \\announces its LTE routers will be part of a comprehensive security bundle with SonicWall, whose line of next-generation firewalls (NGFW) safeguard networks from sophisticated cyber attacks. The bundle is to be exhibited at NRF 2018 Retail’s Big Show in NYC on January 14th†through the 16th.
Networks bolstered by an LTE router and NGFW can proactively mitigate the consequences of internet service interruptions, data breaches and other threats to business continuity.
“Cyber security and network redundancy are two of the biggest concerns we hear from our customers,” said Jason Dorough, VP Sales at Accelerated. “Partnering with SonicWall on this bundle addresses both concerns while also making it easy for customers to purchase and install. The cellular data network enables both devices to be deployed very quickly, providing a fast, reliable and secure solution that can complement traditional broadband circuits, for business continuity, or stand alone as primary Internet access.”
Organizations will be able to select from a variety of offerings from Accelerated and SonicWall, ranging from feature-rich networking equipment for enterprise deployments to lightweight hardware ideal for small and medium businesses.
“Nothing is more important than empowering and protecting end customers from today’s most advanced cyber threats,” said SonicWall SVP and Chief Revenue Officer Steve Pataky. “Collaborating with proactive partners like Accelerated to make critical cyber security technology attainable for businesses of all sizes is core to our mission.”
The bundle will be available to purchase via Accelerated and SonicWall’s joint distribution partner, Tech Data, the leading global end-to-end distributor of technology products, services and solutions. Customers will have the option to purchase hardware and services as a traditional capital expense, or request a quote using Tech Data’s Tech-as-a-Service (TaaS) model, which allocates the expense over a 24- or 36-month payment term.
Both the Accelerated and SonicWall hardware platforms support centralized configuration and reporting via cloud management tools, which are accessible from any web browser, facilitating real-time notifications, zero-touch provisioning and immensely scalable deployments. Web-based administration is an essential component to maintaining IT infrastructure, and that means it is increasingly critical that network access remains uninterrupted to maintain remote access, especially remote access to mission-critical hardware pieces such as an NGFW.
The SonicWall TZ Series firewalls utilize a robust suite of security capabilities to deliver automated, real-time breach detection and prevention, including the ability to failover between two internet connections. When leveraging cellular internet access, standalone LTE routers overcome limitations in signal strength because they can be installed in locations conducive to better reception, as opposed to USB-connected Aircards that must be directly plugged into existing equipment.
Accelerated LTE routers support all major U.S. and Canadian cellular carriers so customers can choose the mobile Internet service provider of their choice. A special incentive from T-Mobile is available to support the Accelerated-SonicWall bundle, giving the most competitive cellular data plan options to their subscribers.
