This week’s stats ticker:

NinjaRMM collected some interesting stats during its latest MSP Live Chat Session on July 23. There were only 20 MSPs providing the data, but about 70% reported their monthly recurring revenue was equal or greater than the pre-COVID period. However, 60% report they’ve lost clients, and 38% report somewhat less volume recently. 39% are now working entirely from home, more than the 35% are in the office full time. 62% do work onsite for clients but with more restrictions. Only 29% report client visits are back to normal. Team morale rates a 4 on a 1-5 scale for a small majority. Almost 70% report their business has become stronger and/or more resilient. About 74% report their biggest challenge currently is getting new clients. Isn’t that one of the biggest challenges almost every month?

KFC CrocsFinger lickin’ good sandals. It seems everyone is looking for some whimsy during this current mess. KFC tried to help but wound up aggravating more people than they pleased. No, not the biscuits this time, but something new.

The long-awaited Kentucky Fried Chicken X Crocs shoe collection sold out within a half-hour of launch on Tuesday, July 28th. Twitter users blamed bots and scalpers, apparently a real scourge in the world of sneakerheads, for the fast sell-out.

KFC was blamed by disappointed fried-chicken scented shoe non-owners for not taking pre-orders. That’s the best way to beat the sneakerhead sniper bots.

Sadly, KFC has no plans to produce more chicken-y clogs.

OK, who had “”demand for KFC-scented Crocs outpaces supply”” on the COVID-19 crazy news Bingo card? Even crazier, scalpers are selling the Crocs online for $200 and up.
