LogicMonitor, the leading SaaS-based performance monitoring platform for complex, hybrid IT infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Karyn Scott as†Vice President and Head of Marketing. Scott brings more than 20 years of leadership experience specializing in product and technology marketing for high growth tech companies for established enterprises including AppDynamics, Salesforce, and Cisco Systems.

Prior to LogicMonitor, Scott was an advisor to Nutanix and served as Vice President of Global Marketing at AppDynamics (recently acquired by Cisco). She also held senior marketing leadership roles at Salesforce, Cisco and several early stage start-ups including Macromedia.

Before joining the tech world, Scott was a journalist at CNN and Fox News, and holds degrees in psychology and journalism from Boston University and a certificate of completion from Stanford’s Strategy in Action program. In addition, she is an active member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), where she competes in triathlons to raise money and awareness to help find cures for Crohn’s disease.
