Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services announced the opening of three new logistics centers to better serve U.S. ITAD clients.
The new facilities are located in Orlando, FL; Hebron, KY; and Las Vegas, NV, and are the first wave of a planned nine-facility expansion in 2018.
Each logistics center location was selected to foster expansion in underserved geographies. In addition, the Hebron and Las Vegas facilities leverage established Ingram Micro-locations to reduce costs and speed implementation. ITAD-dedicated Ingram Micro trucks, degaussers, and shredders are located at each facility to enhance our onsite data destruction services and improve service request response times.
“Adding logistics centers in existing facilities expands our operational reach and furthers our commitment to providing clients secure, efficient, and cost-effective logistics options,” said Todd Zegers, vice president ITAD, Commerce & Lifecycle Services.†”As we pursue our strategic expansion in the coming months, we continue to focus on reducing reliance on 3rd†party carriers, shortening lead times, improving efficiency, and reducing costs for both traditional ITAD pickups and client-site data erasure and destruction services.”
Service scheduling for the new facilities is already underway.
