CyberData and Objectworld Announce Verified Unified Communications Paging Solution for SMBs
VoIP speakers, amplifiers, and controllers achieve interoperability with Objectworld UC Server.
Ottawa based Objectworld Communications Corp. announced extending its unified communications paging offering with verified interoperable products from CyberData Corporation of Monterey, Calif. CyberData products in combination with Objectworld UC Server can be used as a standalone paging system, an add-on to existing PBXs, or as a unified communications solution with paging capabilities. As a combined solution using UC Server’s drag- and-drop visual service creation environment, businesses can customize ODBC-enabled paging solutions to be created quickly and easily, according to Objectworld.
The unified communications and paging solution can be deployed using a combination of VoIP POE speakers and existing amplifier/PA systems with CyberData VoIP Paging Amplifiers. Using UC Server’s out-dialing capabilities, businesses can create announcements on a schedule or in response to real-time events for vertical industries including retail, airports, and education.†For example, pre-recorded pages may be issued to alert retail employees of inventory levels or airline customers of scheduling delays.
CyberData Corporation’s VoIP Speaker, VoIP Paging Amplifier, VoIP Loudspeaker Amplifier, VoIP Paging Server, VoIP 4-Port Zone Controller, and VoIP Intercom have achieved interoperability with Objectworld UC Server under the Objectworld Connect interoperability program.† Based on the successful interoperability, UC Server enables CyberData overhead paging to be combined with set paging using SIP phones from other Objectworld Connect partners like Polycom, snom, Grandstream, and Aastra.<-->
