Bell Microproducts to Distribute Mellanox VPI Innovations

Mellanox is a supplier of end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems.The company’s ConnectX-2 virtual protocol interconnect adapter cardsare designed to drive the full performance of high-speed 40 Gb/s InfiniBand and 10 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet fabrics.
Built with Mellanox’s fourth-generation InfiniScale IV InfiniBand switch device, Mellanox 20 and 40 Gb/s InfiniBand switches (with FabricIT fabric management software) deliver high-bandwidth and low-latency to data centers, high-performance computing, and embedded environments.
Its BridgeX BX4010 is a VPI gateway that enables data centers to deploy I/O consolidation solutions using InfiniBand or Ethernet as the convergence fabric of choice.†
