Tripp Lite Rolls Out High-Capacity, High-Efficiency SmartPro UPS Model
The 2200VA rack-mount UPS system provides big power with reduced consumption.
Tripp Lite has introduced a new, high-wattage 2200VA SmartPro UPS system. It protects and supports equipment with power protection, enhanced power management and high-efficiency operation.
In a recent press release, Tripp Lite says the UPS system is able to:
- Provide 2200 VA, 1920 W capacity for loads in just 2U of rack space.
- Reduce operating costs via high-efficiency operation.
- Provide eight outlets with three separately breakered, individually controllable load banks to support remote reboot or automated load shedding.
- Correct brownouts and over-voltages without switching to battery power, using line-interactive automatic voltage regulation (AVR).
- Offer “complete monitoring, reporting, and logging of all site and UPS operational conditions” using USB and DB9 communication ports, optional SNMP Web card, and PowerAlert software.
David Slotten, director of product management at Tripp Lite, says the SMART2200RM2U is an exciting addition to the SmartPro rack-mount UPS system lineup. “With its high-power capacity, high-efficiency
operation, and enhanced power management capability,” he says, “the SMART2200RM2U is the ideal solution for protecting server, network, and telecommunications equipment in a wide range of applications.”
