Ingram Micro Creates ‘Proprietary’ Version of Digital Signage Certified Expert Program
Distributor is beginning its solutions-focused training and certification program in Las Vegas as part of the Digital Signage Expo.
Ingram Micro Inc. is presenting a Digital Signage Certified Expert certification program to its solution provider community this week.
At the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas this week, Ingram Micro‘s sales-oriented certification is a “SKU’d offering,” according to the IT distributor. †
In a press release to EH Publishing, Ingram Micro calls its new Ingram Micro Digital Signage Certified Expert certification (IM-DSCE) a chance for channel pros to “more effectively
market, sell, and support the growing portfolio of digital signage solutions and services offered by the Ingram Micro Digital Signage Division.”
The IM-DSCE program will include online, instructor-led training courses as well as several
face-to-face trainings presented by the creators of the industry-wide DSCE certification program.
The trainings will be facilitated by the Ingram Micro Digital Signage Division and its alliance partner Digital Signage Experts Group.
Ingram Micro Digital Signage Division vice president Kevin Prewett says the IM-DSCE certification come as demand for digital marketing has reached an industry high. He adds, “The certification is designed to fuel this growth and provide our channel partners with a much greater market advantage that will earn them more and cost them less.”
Alan Brawn, principal of Digital Signage Experts Groups says Ingram Micro is breaking new ground with IM-DSCE, adding that Ingram Micro is “clearly differentiating its value proposition” and advancing “the digital IQ of channel partners nationwide.”
