Level Platforms Extends Cloud Services to NetSuite
MSPs can now use LPI’s Managed Workplace to remotely monitor NetSuite’s Business Software Suite alongside other infrastructures and applications.
Level Platforms Inc. (LPI), remote monitoring and management software developers, has announced support for NetSuite’s cloud computing portfolio.
From the Web-based central dashboard of LPI’s Managed Workplace, managed service providers (MSPs) can remotely monitor NetSuite’s Business Software Suite alongside other on-premises network infrastructures and applications.
“Most cloud services continue to rely on local data, applications, and infrastructure to deliver their promised experience of reliability and fast response times,” states LPI in a press release to EH Publishing. “As applications move from local infrastructure to more complex environments, MSPs need a way to monitor and manage this newly critical part of the extended customer IT environment.”
LPI’s Managed Cloud Services is designed to enable MSPs to monitor and manage the health of both local infrastructure and cloud services from a single, central Web-based console. The idea, says LPI, is to enable a complete view of the entire computing environment.
Benefits of the new Managed Cloud Services include:
Faster, proactive remediation of customer application issues
Additional revenue sources via bundled cloud services
“We believe that this is the year the channel will transition their business model from selling archaic, on-premise software to selling cloud-based suites,” says NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson. “If traditional VARs don’t change to meet the demand for cloud computing solutions, they could go out of business.”
LPI CEO Peter Sandiford says NetSuite monitoring provides new sales and support channels for MSPs and NetSuite alike. “It adds new services opportunities for existing NetSuite partners, and exposes our traditional infrastructure-focused MSPs to additional incentives to evolve their businesses to embrace the cloud,” he says.
