Company calls its document capture software an ideal “on-ramp” to SharePoint Server 2010.
Kofax plc, a document management solutions provider, has integrated its Kofax Capture software with the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 enables SMB users to connect with each other, respond to business needs, and cut costs with a unified infrastructure. Combined with Kofax Capture’s document capture capabilities, SharePoint Server 2010 users can manage and control documents throughout the information lifecycle, sharing, distributing, and accessing information.
Kofax CTO Anthony Macciola says the need for SMBs to share information and collaborate on projects is increasing. With Kofax Capture serving as the “information on-ramp to SharePoint Server 2010,” he says organizations are able extract “even greater value from their business processes.”
Meera Mehta, Microsoft’s group manager for SharePoint, calls the SharePoint Server 2010-Kofax Capture combination a “powerful platform that enables document capture, processing, and accessibility capabilities for a wide range of customers.”
