ManageEngine’s MSP Center Lite Now Integrates with ConnectWise Software
The integration of the products is aimed to help partners update configuration information in ConnectWise, eliminating the need for manual entry.
Network systems, security, and applications management software MSP Center Lite from ManageEngine now integrates with business operations software from ConnectWise.
MSP Center Lite is an agent-based remote systems management solution designed for MSPs. Built on an agent-central architecture, it helps manage Windows desktops, servers, and networking devices.
The integration of MSP Center Lite with ConnectWise will help some partners automatically and periodically update configuration information in ConnectWise, thereby eliminating the need for manual entry. If the partner wishes to monitor the end systems, the integration converts monitoring alerts into service requests.
According to ManageEngine product manager Dev Anand, the integration will help MSPs overcome “the cumbersome task of manually having to raise a ticket in help desk software whenever an alarm is raised in the IT management software and clearing the alarm when the ticket is closed.”
“By seamlessly integrating the disparate systems,” Anand adds, “we help MSPs overcome these hurdles for a richer and better remote systems management experience.”
ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini hopes the integration will encourage MSP Center Lite users to also employ ConnectWise PSA software. “Using MSP Center Lite in conjunction with ConnectWise PSA software,” he says, “MSPs are better able to perform their day-to-day remote systems management tasks without the need to continually update multiple systems.”
A 60-day trial of the MSP Center Lite software can be downloaded from the MSP Center Lite Web site with a free edition for start-ups (it manages 25 devices).
