Epson Intros Its Latest VS Series Projector
The VS200 provides SVGA resolution and 2,300 lumens of color and white light at a low price point.
Epson America announced this week what it is calling “the newest high-brightness, low-cost projector in the VS-series.”
The VS200 provides SVGA resolution and 2,300 lumens of color and white light output for bright presentations and vibrant color at a price point of $429.
Epson product manager Jason Meyer says the VS200 is designed to deliver performance at an affordable price. “By combining 2,300 lumens of light output with exceptional productivity features and a portable design, the VS200 makes it easy to deliver a brilliant presentation without impacting your budget,” he says.
The Epson VS200 includes USB plug-and-play setup for Windows and Mac. It also leverages the latest 3LCD, 3-chip technology.
, the Epson VS200 delivers amazing, true-to-life color and detail for powerful presentations. 3LCD technology provides an energy efficient light engine which creates stunning images, and in contrast to 1-chip DLP technology, 3LCD requires, on average, 25 percent less electricity per lumen of brightness(3).
The Epson VS200 also features Instant On/Off and direct power on and off, which enables an installed projector to be powered with a wall switch. In addition, the A/V Mute Slide turns off the sound and images to create a quick pause in the presentation. The projector also features Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology for longer-lasting lamp life.
The VS200 is available now, and it comes with a one-year limited warranty that includes two technical support services–Epson PrivateLine phone support and a Road Service projector replacement program.
