LabTech and Doyenz Partner on Cloud-Based Disaster Recovery Solutions
The companies use Automation Nation 2010 as the forum to announce their “freemium” solution being offered to all LabTech partners looking to protect data in the DoyenzShadowcloud.
Remote monitoring innovator LabTech Software and software developer Doyenz Inc. used the forum of Automation Nation 2010 last week to announce that they are partnering in an effort to provide MSPs with cloud-based integrated disaster recovery services.
The ‘freemium’ solution is being offered to all LabTech partners looking to protect data in the DoyenzShadowcloud.
The cloud-based services are designed to “maximize uptime and provide increased value in the day-to-day management of clients,” according to a joint LabTech Software-Doyenz press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
“Doyenz gives our partners an environment for testing and performing migrations in ways that drastically minimize risk, downtime, and project time,” says LabTech CEO Matt Nachtrab. “We at LabTech are excited to deliver the innovative DoyenzShadowcloud product to our partner base.”
HOW IT WILL WORK
LabTech provides IT management tools in a single interface–remote desktop, monitoring, trouble ticket tracking, user information, support, and software management, for example.
Doyenz provides backup through its cloud-based disaster recovery services that leverages local backup software to replicate the Windows server environment. This, in turn, enables MSPs to mirror their clients’ environment for fast restoration in cases of disaster.
LabTech will sell a version of Doyenz cloud-based IT services platform with the Doyenz user interface available through the LabTech console. Future enhancements to the integration will include the ability to deploy the Doyenz agent through LabTech and manage notifications being sent from Doyenz through LabTech.
“Channel partners are demanding reliable disaster recovery services to ensure their clients are safeguarded in the event of a server outage or total disaster,” says Doyenz CEO Ashutosh Tiwary. “With this partnership, the channel now can more efficiently support their clients with an arsenal of IT management tools paired with cloud-based disaster recovery services all in one place.”
