Tripp Lite Rolls Out New Rackmount Console KVM Switch
The new NetCommander Rackmount Console KVM provides a relatively low-cost option for SMBs, controlling up to†128 computers from a single 19-inch display console.
Tripp Lite has added a new low-cost option to its line of Rackmount Console KVM Switches. The B070-008-19 NetCommander Rackmount Console KVM switch is a moderately priced, flexible system for controlling up to†128 computers from a single 19-inch display console.
The B070-008-19 console can be cascaded with Tripp Lites stand-alone B072 NetCommander series KVM switches. Switching between attached servers can be accomplished via the On Screen Display menu or Hotkey commands.
The B070-008-19 Cat5 Console KVM Switch provides cable management by utilizing inexpensive Cat5 patch cables. Moreover, Tripp Lite’s B078-101-Series server interface units enable the KVM cabling to be kept to a minimum. Servers can be located up to 100 feet away from the switch.
Add Remote access over IP by connecting Tripp Lite B051-000 Remote IP Access Unit.
The B070-008-19 Console KVM switch supports a wide variety of software platforms, including Mac, DOS, Windows, Linux, Unix, Sun (USB), and BSD.
A “Password” feature provides additional security to prevent unauthorized access to attached computers.
All rackmount hardware is included. The KVM fits into any rack from 27 inches to 42 inches deep.
Two-post rackmounting is available using Tripp Lite’s B019-000.
