Model TPL-310AP represents yet another new addition to the Powerline AV wireless N access point lineup.
Networking hardware company TRENDnet launched the 200 Mbps Powerline AV Wireless N Access Point (Model TPL-310AP) last week. This model combines a high-performance Powerline adapter with a 300 Mbps wireless N access point.
The 200 Mbps Powerline AV Wireless N Access Point (Model TPL-310AP) creates a wireless network from any outlet on an electrical system. A VAR need only to network one adapter to a router and plug another adapter into any outlet on the same electrical system to equip a SMB with instant high-speed network access.
Adapters connect easily via a Sync button. Advanced AES encryption provides Powerline security, LED displays convey device status for easy troubleshooting, and Quality of Service (QoS) technology prioritizes video, audio, and online gaming.
Embedded power-saving technology lowers power consumption by up to 70 percent in standby mode, according to TRENDnet.
The built in 300 Mbps wireless N access point offers Access Point, Client, WDS, and Mesh mode functionality. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) connects wireless clients quickly. Advanced features include four SSIDs, different encryption for each SSID, WMM Quality of Service data prioritization, WPA2-RADIUS encryption, MAC Access Control, and Spanning Tree support.
“If users need to extend wireless coverage throughout their home, our TPL-310AP can save them time,” says Zak Wood, TRENDnet’s director of global marketing.
The 200M bps Powerline AV Wireless N Access Point (Model TPL-310AP), comes with a three-year limited warranty and will be available from TRENDnet’s online and retail partners this coming February.
The MSRP for the TPL-310AP is $109.99.
