ADTRAN’s NetVanta unified communications (UC) solutions can now be deployed by partners and resellers in virtual environments utilizing VMware. †Virtualization of NetVanta UC will enable applications requiring greater portability and flexibility for partners and customers. Some of the key features of this release are:
- Service providers and resellers can offer hosted services to their customers. Virtualized NetVanta UC deployments can ease the reseller’s business process integration and integration with a customer’s IT Infrastructure.
- Server consolidation increases space utilization efficiency and reduces the number of physical servers.
- Distributed enterprises can deliver UC functionality to their branch locations from a NetVanta UC Server hosted in the cloud, while deploying ADTRAN IP PBXs or IP Business Gateways at remote or branch locations.
- Hosted virtual disaster recovery servers can be geographically separated from the customer’s business location, improving business continuity.
