With a secure, compliant cloud-based environment for DCX, iSentry says it can use the AppCenter web-based management console to implement a cloud-based version of its existing managed hosting environment.
Secure data delivery innovator iSentry has selected hosted, managed cloud and messaging services provider NaviSite to support and deliver the company’s Digital Content Exchange (DCX)†solution.
NaviSite worked closely with iSentry to create a secure, compliant cloud-based environment for DCX. With NaviSite’s MCS, iSentry can deploy its on-demand DCX solution, without incurring the costs and delays typically associated with infrastructure build-out.
Using the AppCenter web-based management console, iSentry says it has implemented an operational cloud-based version of its existing managed hosting environment in “just a matter of days.” In a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB, iSentry says the the ability to “dynamically define and create load-balanced clusters of cloned DCX servers in a SAS70 environment” has enabled it to “rapidly add capacity to its SaaS-based DCX environments to meet demand.”
“With NaviSite’s Managed Cloud Services, we can now offer on-demand, cloud-based resources from within a SAS70 environment,” adds Gareth Evans, iSentry’s managing director. “The ability to rapidly create new Linux virtual machines, combined with NaviSite’s usage-based pricing, makes this cloud-based solution doubly attractive.”
