Cabinet NG, a document and workflow management software provider, has enhanced 
CNG-WEB. CNG-WEB is an optional module that enables users to manage and file documents on a premises-based server and/or online and can now deploy CNG-SAFE functionality across multiple locations.
CNG-WEB supports viewing, creating, editing, routing, and scanning documents. The CNG-SAFE repository includes security controls, while data is protected by encryption with any CNG-ONLINE subscription. New check in/out capabilities allow users to edit documents, and system features include retention, version control, and auditing.
The enhancement to CNG-WEB also includes better methodology for document templates to ease the filing process. Performance enhancements have also been made, including a faster folder selection time – over 100 times faster than the previous version for cabinets with over 5,000 folders.
CNG-WEB is currently included with CNG’s hosted SaaS offering called CNG-ONLINE at no additional cost, or for $2,995 when used with a premises-based server running CNG-SAFE.
