Mountain View, Calif.-based Axcient Inc., a provider of data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery services for SMBs, has received the Best in Show award at Autotask Community Live 2011.
The company, which received one of only two awards given out at the end of the event, was selected by the 770-plus MSP and VAR 
attendees at the show out of the products and solutions exhibited by more than 45 vendors at the three-day Autotask Community Live 2011 event.

Autotask and Axcient recently completed an integration of the two solutions that enable MSPs to open and access Axcient backup and recovery events through the service tickets in the Autotask PSA tool. This automation affords IT providers deeper insight into their data protection events.
The Axcient/Autotask integration is available at no additional charge to Axcient and Autotask partners.
