At InfoComm 2011, the company introduces a broad range of new professional audio visual and computing technologies.
Panasonic Solutions Company used the InfoComm 2011 forum in Orlando, Fla. this week to announce a broad range of new professional audio visual and computing technologies.
The company introduced numerous new products, including new LCD and plasma displays for digital signage and conference room applications and professional projectors for a wide range of venues. It also rolled out HDTV production solutions and a new Toughbook mobile computer.
“At InfoComm, we are highlighting a number of new products and solutions that will further solidify our ability to meet and exceed the expectations of our comprehensive customer and partner ecosystem,” says Panasonic Solutions Company president Rance M. Poehler. “We offer an all-encompassing suite of AV and mobile-computing technologies, as well as the value-added support and service our customers and partners need.”
Panasonic says its new projectors offer customers “a choice of resolutions and aspect ratios for a spectrum of fixed and mobile installations.” The projects released during InfoComm include:
- PT-EX16KU & PT-VW330 — These projectors are developed in collaboration with Sanyo. The PT-EX16KU LCD projector features 16,000 lumens of brightness, XGA resolution and is ideal for large venue deployments. The PT-VW330 Series projectors, available in three different models, PT-VW330U, PT-VX400U, and PT-VX400NTU.
- PT-DW730 & PT-DX800 — Two new single-chip DLP projectors with enhanced brightness in its best-selling D6000 Series. The PT-DW730US and PT-DX800US have been engineered with a new lamp drive system for increased brightness and a new Eco Filter for less maintenance.
- 3D Home Theater Projector — Panasonic has announced the development of 3D Ready Full HD home theater projector, a successor model to its PT-AE4000U.
Professional display and digital signage solutions announced at InfoComm include:
- LFP30 and LFT30 — Professional LCD indoor and outdoor display solutions, distinguished by high brightness, slim design, low power consumption, light weight and a wide range of professional feature
- LF30 Series — The new LF30 Professional LCD displays offer exceptional brightness that accurately conveys information even in areas with high-levels of ambient light. Available in 42- and 47-inch models, the series is ideal for open spaces, like shopping malls and transportation depots.
- PF30 Series — The latest line of 1080p professional plasma displays now deliver 3D capabilities. The series is available in four models: the 42-inch TH-42PF30U, the 50-inch TH-50PF30U, the 60-inch TH-60PF30U, and the 65-inch TH-65PF30U.
Newly announced HD video acquisition and production solutions include:
- HDTV Producer — The Panasonic HDTV Producer is an affordable, all-inclusive, professional video studio system priced below $20,000.
- Weatherproof Camera Housing — Eight new weatherproof and vandal-resistant outdoor camera solutions are based on the company’s AW-HE50 integrated HD/SD pan-tilt cameras. These solutions are ideal for use as tower cams, weather cams, traffic cams, and in sports facilities.
