Active Media Products Launch 64GB Mini SSD

Active Media Products, a SSD and DOMs manufacturer, is now shipping the SaberTooth Z, a 64GB mini 1.8″ PATA ZIF SSD that measures only 2.1 x 1.3″ and is ideal for upgrading laptops for SMB use. This SSD delivers transfer speeds up to 80MB/s

The SaberTooth Z accommodates a wide range of ZIF cable thickness and is compatible with 40-pin ZIF HDDs. The drive is available alone, or as an upgrade kit that includes a mini screwdriver and a USB-ZIF cloning adapter. The drive is available at $179 and the upgrade kit at $189.
