Autotask, an IT business management software provider, is translating its software into five new languages – Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese. The move follows other recent †international announcements including a German translation of its software, the opening of the company’s first European office in the UK, and a new distribution agreement to serve customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
With more than 25 percent of Autotask’s customers located outside of the United States and Canada, it’s no surprise that the company is focusing more on global customers. Autotask software is currently being used by VARs and MSPs in 54 countries. The company anticipates fully localized and translated versions of its software in German and Mandarin Chinese by early 2012, with the remaining translated versions available by the end of Q1, 2012.
