The virtual desktop products developer for cloud computing environments adds broad cloud computing and managed services operations to its portfolio.
Virtual desktop products innovator for cloud computing ClearCube Technology has acquired Dallas-based Network Elites, a cloud computing and managed services provider. The acquisition provides ClearCube with a more formidable entry into the public cloud services market and expands its private cloud computing portfolio.
“This announcement marks a significant step forward in ClearCube’s expansion into public cloud services,” says ClearCube president and CEO Randy Printz. “There are tremendous synergies resulting from this acquisition that will create a force multiplier in driving growth for ClearCube solutions in the cloud computing and virtual desktop infrastructure markets.”
Network Elites, founded in 2001, has developed a comprehensive platform for cloud computing service delivery. It is profitable, multi-million dollar operation.
“The Network Elites cloud service delivery platform is a perfect complement to ClearCube’s centralized and virtual computing solutions,” says Network Elites CEO Ayman Omar. “Now organizations have the option of equipping their employees with the most efficient, secure and flexible computing solution based on the end-user’s needs.”
As a result of this acquisition, ClearCube is rolling out new public cloud computing services to SMBs while increasing the breadth of service offerings under ClearCube’s private cloud product portfolio. ClearCube’s private cloud offerings consist of centralized computing solutions deployed behind the customer’s firewall , VMware View virtual desktops for task and knowledge workers, and ClearCube blade workstations for power users — all are accessible via secure zero clients.
