For the second month in a row, the company adds new models to its line of SMB-friendly all-in-ones.
All-in-one printers make a lot of sense for small offices, and Epson America Inc. seems intent on working every angle. This month, the printer-maker expanded its WorkForce line of printers with four new all-in-one models. These products join three other models, which were added this past September.
The newest Epson WorkForce printers for SMBs are the 435,†545, 645, and†845 models. All three models deliver quick printing speeds, mobile print capabilities (via Epson Connect), WiFi n connectivity, a 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF), and built-in memory card slots. The WorkForce 545, 645, and 845 models also offer Ethernet networking as an additional mode of connectivity.
WORKFORCE 845
For SMBs in need of facilitating larger print volumes, the WorkForce 845 all-in-one delivers one-sided print speeds of 15 ISO ppm (black) and 9.3 ISO ppm (color) and two-sided print speeds of 7.4 ISO ppm (black) and 5.4 ISO ppm color. †It also offers a 500-sheet input capacity.
The 845 model features copying, double-sided printing, and a 7.8-inch Smart Touch panel. It carries a MSRP of $199.99.
WORKFORCE 645
Quick scanning and printing is the aim of the WorkForce 645, which offers quick print speeds — 15 ISO ppm (black), 7.2 ISO ppm (color) one-sided, 7.5 ISO ppm (black) two-sided, and 4.6 ISO ppm (color) two-sided. It also offers a two-sided auto document feeder for double-sided copying and scanning. It carries a MSRP of $149.99.
WORKFORCE 545
The WorkForce 545 features a 250-sheet paper tray and ISO print speed of 15 ppm black. It also offers a 2.5-inch color LCD for quick photo viewing and printing.†It carries a MSRP of $129.99.
WORKFORCE 435
The WorkForce 435 is an entry-level business all-in-one model. It carries a MSRP of $99.99.
