D-Link, a unified networking producer, has launched its DGS-1500 SmartPro switch series, which provides the essential features of a managed switch at an SMB price point. With features including Layer 3 functions, the SmartPro series allows SMBs to scale their switching infrastructure incrementally. The SmartPro series enables centralized switch management through virtual stacking.
The SmartPro series delivers advanced switching features, including static routing functionality to segregate networks. Time-based PoE and port scheduling functionality allow the powering down of ports not in use.
