Starboard Storage Systems, a storage provider for mixed workload, has partnered with Acronis, a disaster recovery provider, to deliver a storage platform capable of consolidating mixed workloads with backup in physical and virtual environments. The Starboard AC72 Storage System is designed help SMBs simplify managing mixed workload environments, including unstructured, virtualized, and structured data.
Acronis will provide data protection and disaster recovery via Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 for physical and virtual environments. Acronis will also provide vmProtect 7 for vCenter integration, VM replication and Microsoft Exchange support.
