IT distributor Ingram Micro Inc. is hosting an event this week designed especially for public sector channel partners. The Public Sector Federal Summit takes place June 20 and June 21 in Vienna, Va. The two-day event is designed to enable channel partners to identify and leverage the right solutions and mix of technology so they can “help their customers save money and maximize their return when it comes to investing in IT innovation,” as stated by Ingram Micro in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
“Despite the current budget challenges, the federal market continues to represent a great opportunity for Ingram Micro’s federal-focused channel partners,” says Michael Humke, Ingram Micro’s executive director of healthcare, public sector, and vertical markets. “The federal market has evolved and is looking beyond low-cost hardware purchases to real business solutions that will help them drive change and reach their goals.”†††
