Cortado, a cloud desktop service provider, has announced Print-to-ePaper for ThinPrint users. Print-to-ePaper enables ThinPrint users to print to tablets and automatically deliver a document as a PDF file.
To use Print-to-ePaper, users simply select Print-to-ePaper as their printer driver. For employees who travel, essential documents like travel info, presentations, or customized contracts are easily accessible via smartphone or tablet.
Print-to-ePaper is automatically installed along with the ThinPrint Server Engine. Existing customers can install the free feature†† release. Print-to-ePaper is based on Cortado’s free cloud desktop solution, Cortado Workplace, already used by over a quarter of a million iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry users. The recently launched HTML5 version also brings use of Cortado Workplace to PC and Mac users. Accounts can be set-up instantly, or the Cortado Workplace app can be downloaded from any of the major app stores.
Print-to-ePaper is currently available for Android (starting at 2.1), and will soon be available for iPhone and iPad users.
