Cloud services provider dinCloud has announced general availability of dinBackup. dinBackup is a NetApp-based cloud storage service that offers second-site replication, redundancy, and overall disaster recovery capabilities for NetApp customers.
Part of dinCloud’s business provisioning, dinBackup makes implementing a comprehensive disaster recovery solution “affordable and painless for existing customers of Data ONTAP-based storage,” the company states in a press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB.
“Traditional disaster recovery solutions that back up to a secondary data center carry significant infrastructure and management costs, something that many SMBs cannot afford,” says dinCloud senior vice president Ali Din.
