HTG Peer Groups, an international organization of IT solution providers, is planning for its first Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) Summit. The two-day event will take place in Melbourne, May 20-21, 2013. It will be HTG’s first summit event to be held outside of the U.S. HTG established its first ANZ peer group in early 2010, and today there are three groups meeting in this region each quarter.
The ANZ Summit will include a Leadership Forum and an M&A Workshop. “We find that the challenges facing partners around the globe are often similar to those we face in North America. The 2013 U.S. Leadership Forum has been a great success, and we’re excited to deliver the same experience to our ANZ members who are hungry for this type of content,” says Arlin Sorensen, HTG Peer Groups’ founder and CEO.
Attendees may register for one or both days of the summit. In the M&A Workshop on day one, Sorensen and his team will share personal insight about mergers and acquisitions, including common mistakes to avoid. The content will be tailored to the needs of attendees and will cover aspects of transition thinking, buying, selling, and succession/exit planning.
Day two’s Leadership Forum will be led by Sorensen featuring his “5 Layers” model for organizational structure and focusing on HTG’s 2013 organizational health theme. This forum will give attendees the opportunity to discuss principles based on The Advantage by Patrick Lencioni, as well as HTG’s new framework tool, Planning for Success: The HTG Way.
