Pouring rain and threats of hail and tornados did not dampen the spirits of the nearly 500 attendees at SYNNEX Corp.’s Varnex conference for SMB-focused resellers at the Renaissance Orlando at Sea World kicking off with a welcome reception last night in Orlando, Fla.
Varnex, a community of the distributor’s SMB resellers launched in 2008, helps members connect and partner with their peers to share ideas and information and drive growth for their companies. Services, tools, benefits, training, and other resources are available to the growth-oriented SMB resellers in the community who meet a threshold volume through SYNNEX of $300,000 a year or $25,000 a month.
Members must also derive at least 50 percent of their business from SMB clients and have a vertical or technology specialty within a region of the U.S.
It is these resellers that the distributor believes are the most ready to take advantage of Varnex benefits to further fuel their success. From the enthusiastic collaboration on team “minute to win it” games at last night’s reception, it looks like the resellers are ready.
