Portable speakers can really take a beating — and we’re not even talking about your taste in music. The Braven 625 is made to take that abuse and more. In fact, it relishes in it.
The Braven 625 is a Bluetooth speaker that’s built to travel. So whether you’re going somewhere for work or plan to hit the beach, this speaker is the one for you. That’s because it travels light and can withstand some of those outdoor elements. It’s comes with a waterproof bag and the actual speaker has a shock-absorbing exterior. In other words, it could probably take a spill a lot better than you can, and literally not miss a beat.
Of course, we really don’t recommend that, because the 625 may be there for you when you really need it. It’s something to consider, since the speaker has a 1700mAh portable USB powerbank, which can charge up the included USB flashlight or pretty much all of your other USB devices.
First and foremost though, it’s a speaker — and an easy one, at that. Since it’s wireless and has Bluetooth support, you don’t need to be packing all sorts of cords and cables when you’re on the go. Charge the unit via USB and you should be able to enjoy up to 16 hours of playback. Then once you’re ready to rock, use the Bluetooth features to stream content from your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible device.
