Excel4apps, a provider of Excel-based financial inquiry and reporting software for users of SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial software, has announced a collaborative alliance with Coupa Software, a provider of cloud-based finance solutions, including procurement, payables and expense management. The complementary products are intended to help companies get more value from their existing ERP system.
According to the company, Australian-based Excel4apps, with U.S. offices in Pittsburgh, and San Mateo, Calif.-based Coupa Software have formed this alliance to expand access for their respective customer bases to financials-related solutions that focus on ease of use for SAP and Oracle users. Through this relationship, each company will be able to recommend its partner’s solutions to selected clients based on a deeper understanding of those solutions. They will also engage in strategic joint and cross-marketing to customers.
There are no current plans for bundling the solutions, according to the company. The partnership is currently in effect and activities are already under way.
