SMBs are better able to secure their brick-and-mortar locations due to advances in lens technology from Grandstream Networks.
The IP video surveillance solutions provider has rolled out a weatherproof infrared (IR) HD IP camera with an adjustable lens. The GXV3674 HD VF is Grandstream’s first vari-focal IP camera, enabling SMBs to adjust the camera lens to fit a wide range of security monitoring needs, like building entrances, parking lots, stairwells, etc.
“With physical security monitoring on the rise worldwide, the need for different camera options to record various situations is paramount,” says Grandstream Networks CEO David Li. “Grandstream is committed to providing a wide range of flexible camera options to meet the needs of a variety of security applications.”
The GXV3674 HD VF IP Camera with vari-focal lens is manually adjustable from 2.8mm (close angle monitoring at 115-degree angle) to 12mm (long distance at a 30-degree angle) and any other angle in between. The camera features a 1.2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, H.264 multi-streaming rate at 720p resolution, IP66 weatherproof casing, ONVIF compliance, integrated PoE, and infrared capability (IR_CUT and IR LED) for advanced nighttime and low-light video surveillance recording. It is suitable for both indoor/outdoor applications and those situations in which monitoring distance may change in the future.
All Grandstream GXV IP Video Surveillance cameras support SIP/VoIP for two-way audio and one-way video streaming, advanced notification and alert options, and built-in streaming servers. Grandstream’s IP cameras can be managed by free GSurf Pro Video Management Software, which controls up to 36 cameras simultaneously.
The GXV3674 HD VF is commercially available now through Grandstream worldwide distribution channels at a list price of $369.
