HP has been busy at the DSE 2014, showcasing a new 55-inch LED display, new digital signage players, a full portfolio of touch and value digital signage displays, and the multitouch LCD video wall, HP Vantage Point.
The 55-inch HP LD5535, HP’s widest commercial-grade LED display, delivers images with in-plane switching (IPS) panel technology for 178-degree viewing angles. Integrated scaler technology enables the creation of daisy-chain video walls or a network of displays. The HP LD5535 can be implemented in multisite businesses that require prompt content changes.
The HP MP9 Model 9000 and HP MP4 Model 4200 media players, the smallest and thinnest digital media players in HP’s portfolio, deliver HD content. They can be installed using the VESA mounting system, which supports horizontal or vertical displays from under a counter, on a wall, inside a kiosk and more.
HP’s portfolio of DSDs has been redesigned with thin, light LED backlights and 178-degree viewing angles. Solutions in the line include touch-enabled displays, performance displays, value-priced displays, and micro-bezel displays.
The touchscreen DSDs (including the 42-inch HP LD4245tm and 47-inch HP LD4745tm) offer full HD quality resolution and Integrated Infrared (IR) multitouch capabilities. They also feature reduced power consumption, mercury-free display backlights and low-halogen components.
HP’s high-end commercial-grade LED backlit displays, such as the 55-inch HP LD5535, 47-inch HP LD4735, 42-inch HP LD4235, offer networked management, lock out features to prevent tampering, VoE, and a built-in basic USB media player.
Aimed at extended daily operation, HP’s value-priced LED backlit DSDs (31.5-inch HP B321, 42-inch HP B421) offer a slim design and features including streaming networked video support.
HP’s commercial grade micro-bezel displays (HP 4730, HP 4730G) enable the construction of HP VantagePoint multitouch-enabled LCD-based wall.
