Lenovo used the ISC West security tradeshow as an opportunity to unveil two new high-performance 2-bay and 4-bay network video recorders. It’s looks much like the ix4-400d NAS we saw debut at CES, but it now ships with video management software from Milestone Systems, like Milestone Interconnect and Mileston Arcus, to offer additional features and flexibility out of the box for easy deployment and unlimited scaling across connected NVRs around the globe.
Existing px series users need not feel left out; all existing LenovoEMC px Series network storage products, desktop and rackmount models, can upgrade to the new Milestone Arcus VMS as a downloadable application.
Pricing for the 2-bay model starts at $999 and jumps to $2,299 for the 4-bay, but these include at least 4 camera licenses which explains the higher pricetags. Bundles with more camera licenses are available, too. Details and features in the release below.
