MSI’s new R9 270X GAMING 2G ITX graphics card is the latest addition to the MSI gaming line-up and a companion to the latest Intel and AMD Mini-ITX motherboards. At just 17 centimeters and housing Military Class 4 components, the card features MSI’s RADAX fan solution, a hybrid radial/axial fan that boasts low noise and temperature reduction up to 30%.
The new MSI Gaming App allows users to overclock their MSI gaming graphics card and MSI gaming motherboards, while capturing video and streaming with XSplit Gamecaster and MSI Predator.
XSplit Gamecaster supports streaming to Twitch, UStream, and YouTube Live. Gamers can add their cam whether live streaming or recording by bring up the in-game overlay, activate the camera, resize, and position it to fit the current game. The built-in annotation feature enables users to draw and highlight selected parts of the gameplay to explain strategies and use drawings to highlight their commentary.
Video connectivity options consists of one dual-link DVI-D connector, two mini-DisplayPort ports, one mini-HDMI interface, and a HDMI. It also comes bundled with two video port adapters — one DVI to D-Sub adapter, and one mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter.
