ZyXEL Communications has introduced a series of Internet Access Gateways designed for hospitality environments to deliver high speed, always-on, manageable Internet services. The series includes UAG2100 (supports up to 200 devices) and UAG5100 (supports up to 800 devices) and features dual-WAN interfaces for service reliability, host data retention for security, bandwidth management, and billing capabilities.

ZyXEL service gateways are designed with advanced billing, user authentication, and access control features that help hospitality locations manage guest accounts, block unauthorized access, and limit access abuse through per-account bandwidth management. Specific features of the new series include:
- Supports 800 concurrent devices
- Comprehensive billing features help hospitality venues monetize Internet services or offer them for free
- Dual-WAN support with load balancing and failover protection
- Integrated WLAN controller manages up to 32 Wi-Fi Access Points
- 10 IPSec VPN tunnels allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to remotely manage and service customer deployments
- Support for recording user access information like MAC addresses, source and destination IPs, and more, to facilitate auditing requests from security agencies
UAG2100
- Supports up to 200 concurrent devices
- Built-in dual-radio 802.11n Access Point
- Comprehensive billing features with Web-based authentication help hospitality venues monetize Internet services or offer them for free
- Integrated WLAN controller manages up to 8 Wi-Fi Access Point
- Supports ticket printer for password generation and billing

The UAG5100 (MSRP: $1299) is available for purchase from all authorized ZyXEL partners. The UAG2100 (MSRP: $599) will be available beginning August 1, 2014. The UAG5100 supports up to 500 devices out of the box and is upgradable to 800. The UAG2100 supports up to 100 devices out of the box and is upgradable to 200.
