Epson has unveiled the PowerLite 1263W, an HD projector with wireless connectivity designed for widescreen displays of content from a laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
The PowerLite 1263W delivers 3,000 lumens of color brightness and 3,000 lumens white brightness2 and widescreen HD performance with WXGA resolution. In addition, the projector offers wireless connectivity, and two HDMI ports, which also supports Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL), to display content from MHL-enabled smartphones and tablets.
Additional features of the projector include:
- 3LCD Technology: This technology provides an energy-efficient light engine, which uses available lamp light to create images and boasts 25 percent less electricity use per lumen of brightness4.
- Wireless Connectivity: Projector connects directly to a laptop with the included wireless LAN module.
- Epson iProjection: Present content from smartphones or tablets, wirelessly, with the free Epson iProjection app5.
- QR Code Connection: Epson’s QR code provides access to content from smartphones and tablets. Turn the projector on, use Epson iProjection to scan the on-screen QR code, and be connected to share content.
- Power and Image Control: The projector includes automatic vertical keystone correction and a horizontal Easy-Slide control bar for enhanced image correction. Direct Power On and Off delivers wall switch power control. Instant Off powers down the projector with no cool down time, and the A/V Mute Slide pauses the presentation without turning the projector off.
The Epson PowerLite 1263W (MSRP $649) is available through national resellers, mail order, distribution, and through the Epson ImageWaySM Partner Program. Epson’s PowerLite projectors come with a two-year limited warranty (90-day limited lamp warranty) that includes two technical support services – Epson PrivateLine phone support and a Road Service projector replacement program that includes projector exchange in one business day with paid shipping.
