SYNNEX has introduced a program designed to help partners research, sell, and support unified communications, audio-visual, secure networking, and other collaboration solutions.
Called COLLABSolv, the new offering is the latest addition to a family of “Solvs” for government solutions, print solutions, and more, as well as the distributor’s Stellr program, which was previously named CLOUDSolv but covers mobility and the Internet of Things as well.
Included in COLLABSolv are solutions for small, mid-market, and large businesses with remote workers, BYOD policies, huddle rooms, meeting spaces, and customer experience centers, and more. Vertical markets supported by the program span from healthcare, education, and houses of worship to public sector agencies and beyond.
“Today’s workplace is evolving, and SYNNEX partners are moving quickly to meet the needs of their customers. This strategic initiative is designed to help customers make their complex voice, cloud, and video projects simple, cohesive and profitable,” said Sandi Stambaugh, vice president of product management at SYNNEX, in prepared remarks. “Beyond delivering best-in-class hardware, software and platform offerings, our dedicated team of sales and marketing professionals and certified engineers are able to equip customers with the knowledge and skills needed to gain the competitive edge in this important market segment.”
COLLABSolv users have access to specialized design, sales, product, and solutions teams. The program’s line card includes Avaya, Bose, Cisco, Crestron, Epson, Fortinet, Google, Harman, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP, Intel, Konftel, Lenovo, LG, Logitech, Microsoft, Poly, RingCentral, Ruckus, Samsung, Sennheiser, ViewSonic, WatchGuard, and others.
Some of those names—including Cisco, most prominently—joined the master SYNNEX line card following the distributor’s 2017 acquisition of the Americas operations of Westcon-Comstor, a value-added distributor with expertise in unified communications, networking, and security.
Meeting room-as-a-service solutions, priced at monthly subscription- or consumption-based rates, are available through COLLABSolv, along with a variety of bundled solutions that combine offerings from multiple vendors.
Services available through COLLABSolv include site surveys, collaboration assessments, post-sales support, helpdesk services, and solution monitoring, as well as solutions-focused training and enablement.
SYNNEX said it was “doubling down” on collaboration solutions, along with other Pro AV segments, in a conversation with ChannelPro last year.
