BenQ America Corp., a provider of visual display solutions, has released the latest addition in its line of Colorific projectors: the MH630. Designed for boardrooms, classrooms, or even home environments, the new multipurpose device combines full HD 1080p picture quality with 3D, PC, and Blu-ray readiness.
With Colorific image quality, BenQ’s MH630 boasts more than 1 billion colors without any light burn or degradation over extended usage. Supported by a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, the unit also provides full HD 1080p resolution and 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness.
“Ideal for both permanent installations and presentations on-the-go, the MH630 enhances office presentations, classroom teaching, or content consumption within the home. As a result, users can now experience the high-quality imaging and flexibility normally reserved for higher-priced projectors on an extremely cost-effective device,” says Bob Wudeck, associate vice president, strategy and business development at BenQ America Corp.
To help lower the unit’s total cost of ownership (TCO), the MH630 features BenQ’s power-saving SmartEco technology to bring users up to 6,500 hours of lamp life. In “Eco Blank” mode, the projector allows users to blank out the screen whenever projection isn’t needed, while “No Source Detected” mode offers a reduction in power consumption by 30 percent when no source has been detected for more than three minutes. With the “Auto Power Off” function, the unit automatically shuts down when not in use for 30 minutes.†
Available now, the MH630 projector retails at an MSRP of $1,799. More information on the full line of BenQ products is available at www.BenQ.us.†
