AVANT Communications, a distributor of next generation technologies, has announced that accomplished IT Executive Ron Hayman has joined the team as its Chief Cloud Officer (CCO). Hayman will oversee the company’s cloud strategy, specifically to build upon AVANT’s technologies as well as its approach to providing best-in-class cloud solutions to its partners. Hayman has more than 15 years of experience in IT leadership with organizations such as the US Navy, Headhunter.net, CareerBuilder.com, and Liaison Technologies.

As the Chief Cloud Officer, one of Hayman’s first objectives will be launching AVANT’s security practice to bring subscription-based security services to its partners. In addition, Hayman will also lead and manage the company’s engineering team with the goal of strengthening its overall sales enablement strategy and support for its partners.
