Epson has shipped a new addition to its lineup of A3 color multifunction printers with functionality optimized for work-from-home employees.
Available now with a standard two-year warranty through Epson BusinessFirst resellers, the WorkForce EC-C7000 comes with a wireless setup process designed to be easy enough for remote professionals to perform on their own from any smartphone or other mobile device with Bluetooth Low Energy.
The new system can also print pages up to 13″ x 19″, making it an appealing option, according to Epson, for users in the architecture, engineering, construction, retail, and hospitality industries.
“Recognizing the surge in employees working from home and in hybrid environments, Epson designed the EC-C7000 to help businesses bring affordable, professional-quality printing in-house for businesses such as the hospitality sector mandated to print and display signage or create disposable menus,” said Alan Chen, product manager for business imaging at Epson America, in prepared remarks.
The WorkForce EC-C7000, which utilizes DURABrite Ultra instant-dry pigment ink, prints up to 25 mono pages per minute and up to 12 color pages per minute. The unit includes two-sided print, copy, scan, and fax capabilities, and features dual 250-sheet front trays, a 50-sheet rear tray, and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder.
Epson added three A3 color inkjet MFPs to its WorkForce Enterprise portfolio earlier this month.
